Developer Ready Infrastructure with a VMware Validated Solution
Today, VMware made available its Developer Ready Infrastructure VMware Validated Solution (VVS). This differs from a VMware Validated Design (VVD) that many of you may be familiar with. I would almost a day two type of document. Since you already deployed the technology stack, you are now investigating how to build on the VVD with the VVS.

Along with the release of VMware Cloud Foundation 4.3, we are excited to announce the general availability of the Developer Ready Infrastructure VMware Validated Solution. The solution documentation, intro and how-to videos, and other associated collateral can be found on the Cloud Platform Tech Zone.
These modules are easy to consume and understand. It’s also a great way to level up your knowledge and skills, even if you don’t intend to deploy the solution outlined in the document. You can use these to think through your current designs and if you were challenged with deploying a particular solution, would you be ready? I would use documents like this in my planning session with my virtualization team.
I would also suggest that you proactively review and present these types of documents and solutions to your IT team and management. Let them know that you are thinking through different scenarios. Have a potential blueprint outlined if you may need to deploy something like Tanzu. Your IT management team will look favourably on you for possible future promotions and job role expansion.
