I love San Francisco and the history of Silicon Valley.
There is something romantic about a place that has sparked so much innovation. I truly love the history of it and taking time to look back. I especially like looking back through photo books and seeing how the valley has transformed. I stumbled on this site A Historical Tour of Silicon Valley with all its photos and history. I just love it and digging a little deeper, I also intend to buy the author's book supporting his work.
For an archeology of the high-tech industry in the San Francisco Bay Area (or, better, a tour of organizations that contributed to the high-tech industry of the Bay Area)
I always encourage founders or employees to capture their time at a startup through pictures. It those moments that you want to look back on and remember how it all started. Wish I did more of that.
