Web-Scale Wish Project
Nutanix is doing something special this year (full disclosure, I am employed by Nutanix), they have offered to make a non-profit's dream come true, with the Web-Scale Wish Project. As the Nutanix website stats;
The Web-Scale Wish Project will donate up to $500,000 of products and services to worthy causes selected by the community, with the goal of furthering the organizations’ missions by backing them with the power of web-scale technology.
This is a great opportunity for you to nominate your favourite non-profit and have a real impact on their service to the community. Nominations must be completed/submitted by November 21, 2014. Non-profits can also nominate themselves, so you can reach out to non-profits in your community and encourage them to participate.
The winner – as well as the two runners-up – will get donations of Nutanix products and services to overcome challenges in their IT environments and enable their organizations to effect more positive change.
When will it happen?
Mark your calendar, December 10, 2014. Watch the virtual event on December 10th to hear from the three finalists and cast your vote to determine the winner! Voting will be open to the public for 24 hours.
