I have to tell you I just love testing out new Linux beta’s. I think it has something to do with being on the bleeding edge of technology and sharing what I’ve learned with the beta team and broader community. I am also constantly switching out my daily Linux distro with new beta’s. I don’t think I am any different than others in the community, I see you smiling. So I was excited to see Fedora Linux 34 Beta available.
Matthew Miller writes in Fedora Magazine:
I know this has been a release folks are keen on getting. The Fedora team is looking for beta testers so this is a nice way to help out if you have the time. So I would encourage you to get involved. Besides the Workstation beta, there is also a server and IoT beta version available.
One thing I am looking forward to is GNOME 40 which this beta includes. It’s the newest release of the GNOME desktop environment. This should give Fedora a slightly new look and feel in some cases.
Have you been using Fedora? What are you excited about seeing in this release? Let me know on Twitter and thanks for reading.
